ROUTE DESCRIPTION: his is a 2.58-mile loop that features views of the Portland city skyline, the Willamette River, and two bridge crossings (Hawthorne and Steel Bridges) per loop. Occasional boat traffic on the Willamette River might require either bridge to lift and cause a short delay of foot traffic, but delays are short. The western side of this loop passes through Waterfront Park. The loop is busy with foot and bicycle traffic, and is easily accessible at many points from downtown Portland and the city's east side.
